Sushi Ookini Review Summary

We had an amazing experience! The food was outstanding, truly the best sushi we’ve ever had in our lives. Chef Taisho and the entire staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home.

In addition to the high-quality, fresh seafood, we were delighted by unique offerings like aloe vera and avocado sushi. A special thanks to Chef Taisho for such a memorable dining experience! Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for exceptional sushi.

Cannot recommend this restaurant enough! We had an incredible experience here. Tsutomu is unbelievably kind, so welcoming, friendly, and very talented. You can tell he is passionate about what he does and really cares to get to know every customer who walks in. The food was excellent, and the sake was one-of-a-kind. Don’t miss the opportunity to go here! He also was able to work around my husband’s soy allergy when a lot of other restaurants had turned us away due to his allergy on other nights.

From the moment we walked in until we left the restaurant we were met with the outmost kindness and great hospitality that made us feel so welcome for the whole time.
The food was delicious and the staff involved us throughout the whole preparation of the meal.
As I just left Japan, eating here was definitely one of the most memorable experiences in my whole journey.

Came here for dinner and left blown away. The owner and chef was not only incredible with fish but also with people. He is a one of a kind good human and made a point to welcome us the whole time. He even sang opera for us! He had unique fish that made the experience special.
