Orchid Review Summary

Wonderful and upscale restaurant located in my favorite Tokyo hotel, Orchid has the best roast beef and French toast that I've ever had. Some of the items are quite pricey, as one should expect for a 5-star hotel, but many of them like the French toast are very affordable.

Great service. Great Showa Era food options. It was a delightful nostalgic trip back to the 80s Tokyo.
Great place to hold lunch meetings and/or to unwind away from the hustle and bustle.

The breakfast buffet had plenty of great options, mostly western but with several Japanese dishes. I liked the croissants.

The restaurant was packed with hotel guests, so service was quite slow.

Food was very nice, however small portions for the cost. 4000 for a smallish hamburger and a small basket of fries. 2000 for a very small bowl of onion soup. Staff were excellent.

Most hotel breakfasts are trash but this one takes the cake. Not even worth my time explaining. I got it for free because of my room and I still think it was a waste of food in my stomach. Save yourself the terrible and if you don't get it for free get ready to pay 6000 yen for rubbish and bows
