Oreno Italian Shibuya Review Summary

We ordered Premium course, I don't really like the food pairing. First few dishes were too oily and creamy so by the time we got to half of the course, we were too full to eat the best dish in the end Foie Gras. They should serve the best dish in the middle or towards the beginning because eating it at the end when we are super full makes the dish less tasty.

The manager is extremely rude to foreigners. On 20 Dec 2023, at 5pm, we went to the restaurant and asked (in English as we can't speak Japanese) if there was available seats for 2 persons. He pretended he could not understand. After I showed him my finger sign of 2 persons, we were told to stand at the door. After 2 mins, he pointed us to counter seats. The restaurant was empty at 5pm and there were many tables. We declined politely and told him we were leaving. He said fine and said something to the staff and they started laughing. If I could speak Japanese, I would tell him he has a bad attitude. Look out for this guy if you happen to visit this restaurant. He is older and wears a different uniform from the rest.

Food and service were fantastic, staff was attentive. They were friendly to us as foreigners. We did the 5,000 yen course highly recommend that as it was filling.

Italian food is so delicious that I keep coming back.

This quality at this price...? It's a restaurant where you can enjoy authentic Italian food, where everything you eat is delicious and you'll be surprised.

Starting with the sparkling wine that was poured for me, everything was so delicious that it left a lasting impression on me, but as a foie gras fan, I couldn't resist the Rossini.

Both the pasta and risotto were rich and delicious and made me want to try other dishes.

Since it was the end of the year, the restaurant was always full and crowded, but the atmosphere was very fashionable!
The seats were spacious and not crowded, so I was able to eat in a calm atmosphere!

Appetizers, pasta, and main meats are each served individually on small plates, giving it a slightly more luxurious feel.
The taste is perfect! Enough quality for a light course of 5,000 yen!
I gave in to the waiter's push and added truffles to the meat for an extra 300 yen!

There was a bit of pressure to order more, but the customer service was good and I had a lot of fun eating!
