Edit 2 years later: ignore all one stars and most 2 stars. Notice the amount of reviews each of them have before taking into consideration a review. This place is absolutely worth your money, the pure soy sauce based broth is among the best of any I've had. It hits you with initial flavor and then expands in your mouth with a trickle of various flavors that accompany its absence.
Broth 5/5. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
Noodles 4/5, nothing amazing but no slouch. Extra noodles (ask for kaetama) are plentiful and cheap as well.
Condiments 3/5. Some green onions, menma, it's goes really well but I'd like even more. Fresh, compliments the broth, but doesn't help it reach the next level.
Chashu (meat) 4/5. I like mine a little thicker with more fat, but the meat here is very tasty. It compliments the broth and bursts with flavor.
To miss out on this because of the other reviews, especially those who have less than 5 reviews, is a missed experience. Its worth walk from Umeda, and even if there's a line, it's worth the wait.
It's still one of the purest and delicious soy sauce ramen I've ever had in Japan, and worth the addition to your meal repitiore.
Old review: is really a 4.5, but I'd rather give it the 5 stars. The Ramen soup here is top notch. Among one of the best Ramen soups I've had, it was light, fresh, and far better than other similar restaurants you can find in Umeda. The noodles were great but not amazing, and the meat (beef) was also slightly above par, but the broth makes up for everything. I've been to a lot of Ramen restaurants in Japan, and this is one I will actually revisit.
