Fushimi Ward, Kyoto City

A friend told me about it.

I stopped by on my way back from visiting Jonangu Shrine.

The parking lot here is spacious.

It looks like a house, the interior is bright and clean, and the store mainly serves takeout.

There are a table and two chairs near the window, so it seems like you can eat in as well.

The rice cake is soft and the red bean paste on top is grainy and extremely light and elegantly sweet.

Even people who don't like sweets can eat it.

The set of 4 (3 white and 1 mugwort) is the smallest number, but you can eat it easily.

It looks similar to Akafuku in Ise.

I like this Oseki Mochi more than Akafuku because the rice cake is softer.

Since the expiration date is short, only on the same day, I mainly buy it as a souvenir for my family rather than giving it to someone else.

By the way, the ohagi is made with strained bean paste, but it is also delicious.

But is it a little expensive in terms of cost performance? I think.

The red bean paste has just the right amount of sweetness. The rice cake is fluffy and chewy. The size is also good, and if you like mochi, I think you can eat 10 of them. It's a shame that the expiry date is the same day.
