Luckily, I was kept waiting for an eat-in only for less than 10 min. I had kinda prepared myself for 'that bad attitude' of staff reviewed on social media, yet I was nicely greeted and welcome.
All cakes look good, although some of them taste so-so. I'm especially impressed with their vanilla petit gâteau and baked goods. The crunchy base, crust, or tart shells are properly baked to their perfection.
As I have a sweet tooth and am also a baker who loves trying sweets and cakes all around the world, I could say they sell their products at a higher price than other Japanese Pâtisseries. Their reputation, I got it. Yet, they still cost less expensive than those in european countries, in Paris in particular.

The cakes were delicious as expected. Not overly sweet and perfect as envisioned. The service was extremely professional and they are well trained.
You have to understand that with this shop you're paying for the prestigious location and the cake shop's brand name. It has a solid reputation.
The cafe was a bit too crowded for my liking. It's like they wanted to squeeze in as many people as possible. You should not go if you're afraid of Corona.
If you go after 3pm, most of the popular cakes are all sold out. You might have to line up as it's such a popular shop.
I got this attractive fig and cassis cookie bar and was shocked by how strong the alcohol was!!! Terrible and beyond belief. Like biting into some bitter cookie... extremely bitter!! The shop should rethink how they make it. For 500yen, I was disappointed. I left it out for half a day and some of the alcohol evaporated and it became less bitter and was finally edible.
The shop only uses the finest ingredients. No margarine, shortening or other cheap fillers. Everything is priced higher than other cake shops. It's a great place to buy souvenirs or presents.

The store seem busy all the time, the staffs were tired but try to be nice. Because it’s a super busy store, eat in certainly need to wait, however needed to wait inside of the store only, its really hard. We were standing so closed by the sitting area, feeling disturb to the other customers. If we were able to at least wait outside right by the store and leave some room for people inside to enjoy, will be nicer. Cakes and pastries were really detailed, good and delicious. We enjoyed so much even tho we had to wait for quite long. It’s worth it!

Best pâtisserie I have had the pleasure of sampling in Tokyo. Their specialty is Monsieur Arnaud, an orange chocolate cake but I would actually recommend the Tonka. But really, you cannot miss. Everything is really delicious.
Expect to wait in line for 20+ minutes and go in the morning/early afternoon if you want to make sure their Monsieur Arnaud are not sold out.
