One of the best patisserie in Kyoto, the interior is full of wooden decor and funiture, very chic and rustic, feel like in rural France, I have ordered two petit gateaux, one is called Es, I don't know the japanese, so cant really understand the meaning of the name, but this doesnt bother me becuase the cake is so delicious that the creaminess of the Chantilly cream, sweetness of milk mousse, tanginess of the red fruit compote, and nuttiness of the almond joconde base, this is a perfect 'symphony'. And the other one I have is chocolat framboise, which is a raspberry chocolate ganache cake, the perfect layering of the cake really catches my eye, the chocolate ganache is so good, not too rich but does give a deep sensation of cocoa, which is well wrapped by beautiful rapsberry mirror glaze, c'est bon! I strongly recommend you should stop by here when visiting kyoto and savour one of the best pastry!

Soooo good. Almost all pastries’ got alcohol in them. I could taste rich ram in the mille-feuille cake which was amazing. The store staff were very polite but then they could serve a little quicker.

Very delicate desserts and macaron. Darjeeling and Earl Grey tea were very good. The atmosphere is very nice!
