Not a superduper fan of Japanese curry, but this place was pretty good for this area. A bit pricey for lunch(1300-1500¥). The curry is definitely on the sweet side, but there are three types of pickles you can eat to balance things out. The side of potatoes are so magical. Heck, the high rating is for the potatoes!!

Very good curry place. Ordered beef (medium spiciness) and it was served within a minute (I was there at approx 20:00 and there were few customers). 2 small (boiled?) potatoes were served with butter, a plate of rice (with some cheese) and a sauce boat filled with the sauce and beef.
Was surprised that there were no chopsticks, but I guess it would be difficult to eat without a spoon.
Beef vas very tender, sauce was spicy but quite sweet making for a very interesting (and good) combination.

Taste was really interesting! It was a lot sweeter than other Japanese curry, but spicy at the same time. There'll probably be a line if you come here at lunch time since it's really popular.
