Piccolo Grande Review Summary

We dined here Friday night , ambience was rustic and cozy . The service was very friendly and swift, understood our dietary preferences. The Margarita pizza we ordered was fresh and authentic, the spaghetti with spicy Arrabiata was yummy and portion was a good size . The mussels were cooked to perfection . Excellent wine selections. Have only good things to say about this experience.

A fantastic find! Our family has been in Japan visiting for 10 days and enjoying the local flavor, but today we wanted something closer to home (United States). We heard about this place as a family run, genuinely Italian restaurant and it's better* than anything we've had in the States (next trip, Italy, maybe?). We tried the 5 piece appetizer sampler, Handmade pasta with sausage and mixed vegetables, Penne with four cheeses, Tagliatelle with cream sauce and porcini mushrooms, and finished with dessert if banana millecrepe and yogurt sorbet, all washed down with a nice bottle of Italian wine.

Lovely Italian in Azabujuban. Piccolo Grande is a standard in this neighborhood, and their dishes prove why all my Italian ex-pat friends recommend it. Even the simple salads hold amazing flavor. The seafood is superb, as are the other dishes.

Very authentic Italian food in this neighborhood cantine at Sunday lunchtime. Lots of seasonal offers in the starters, great pasta and yummy deserts, all you need for an Italian comfort moment.
