Pizza Marumo Review Summary

Great experience here. The chef greeted us and I ordered the Bismarck 2.0 and the Margarita. Margarita you can taste the freshness, refreshing. But love the Bismarck combination. The crust has just enough smoke and the dough was light and great chew to it. You can’t go wrong with any of the pizza options here 👍🍕😋

To say this pizzeria is a must is an understatement! We had originally only ordered 2 pizzas but the dough is so light and airy we ordered another one and were able to finish it between two people alone. We sat at the bar which I would recommend if your two people as it’s more enjoyable and quite comfortable. The service was amazing and the food was 11/10. Would highly recommend going for lunch, all lunch orders come with a side salad too. The focaccia is a MUST it’s so good 😊

Awesome experience at this pizza place. Watching the staff work harmoniously together in the open kitchen was a beautiful thing to witness. It's one of the best pizza shops in Tokyo in my opinion. Plus staff were very friendly and attentive. I recommend making reservations ahead of time as this place can get very busy. This restaurant will be my one of the places I go to during my annual Japan visits.

Subarashi ! 😋 the dough is so light and has a great bite. We had the Japanese umami pizza, which did not disappoint. Chef was so friendly and kind as well showing us the dough balls and looked so joyful, can tell food is made with care here. We also ordered the red which paired really well. 👌🏼 my boyfriend wants to rate this place 15/10 if he could.

We dined here on a Saturday afternoon. The pizzas of course lived up to their hype . Half and half margarita/marinara , spicy salami and the Japanese pizzas were beyond delicious. Two stars for the service as the staff was very racist towards us. They not only did not provide the wet towels, they did not even offer to take our coats while they were offering superior service to all other customers. No one came to the table to take orders as well when the restaurant was half empty and we already had a reservation in advance. I would not go back again due to pathetic customer service. Not an enjoyable experience inspite of good food .
