Pizzeria Ciro Review Summary

Very pretty mural painted on the wall. Lots of Italian memorabilia around. The owner clearly cares about authenticity and knows what he’s doing. Also received a favorable review in the Michelin guide for several years running. Pizza did not disappoint. I had the pesto and I can recommend it. It was delicious. Perfect mix of flavors. Amazing service too. Pizza came out in like 10 minutes. Amazing oven. Dough rolled fresh right in front of you. Unbeatable in Kyoto.

A small good Pizzeria,
When the owner chef is there making pizza himself, the pizza taste is excellent. But when he is off, taste is just average (however still better than in many other places )
Service is fair. A small Japanese young waitress was very kind.
Location is good close to the station and not any other good Pizzeria around.
They have a few outside table that are good when weather allow it to eat outside.

I love this place! The pizzas are cheap, many different types and service is great. Just make a reservation before coming because the place is quite small, so not many seats.

Just what you need to get your pizza fix. Authentic, well priced and open throughout the weekend.

The place is always packed - even during off peak hours.

Had the marinara and the diávola - both super flavorful and oven backed to perfection by the in-house pizza queen.

The pizza was great. Very tasty pizzeria in Tokyo! The appetizer was also very nice. Recommended if you are craving pizza in Tokyo!
