Pizzeria Gg Review Summary

One of the best pizzas in Tokyo! We went for lunch and although it was full, they managed to seat us in about 10 minutes. All of the food came quickly. The pizzas were really good, with the tomato sauce standing out specifically. They had a good balance of crust thickness and ingredients. The place is rather small so it can feel a bit crammed. The staff was polite and attentive. Overall it is a bit pricier than other places but worth it

You hear a lot of the same names repeated within the Tokyo pizzeria scene, many them located near the Meguro or Minato areas (ahem). But this one seems to fly under the radar for most tourists, but I think locals know this place well. I think GG's margherita pizza competes for the best in the city. They have a classic stone oven, which creates that unmistakable rustic, fire-charred crust. The only thing is, they're a little pricey, maybe even a little more so than the other popular pizzerias.

Literally one of the best pizza in Tokyo, Napolitano style, the dough is tasty and there is a good choice of pizza!

There is other Napolitano and Italian dishes to satisfy Italian person like me !

Friendly staff who speak english well, there is a menu in english too if needed.

If the restaurant is full, you can add your name and phone number on the list and they will call you when your table is ready, really convenient!

A must have in Tokyo!

If you like German style bread ( thick and chewy) than you will love this pizza place !

The dough smells like bread and is thick , tender and chewy.

The pizza had mozzarella cheese filling and created a real dramatic flavor experience.

Reservation for lunch is not possible, but you will be rewarded with a drink and a mini desert.

There are 30+ seats and the attentive staff will be happy to help you choose the right one :-)

Come for dinner if you like it quiet or want to bring someone special !

Last order is around 22:00, so there is plenty of time to make your way through the rich menu.

Among the best price/perfomance pizza in Tokyo. Staff is polite. The place is small and rathely inexpensive so you are allowed to stay max 90 minutes.
The pizza dough is the traditional one, they also have other typical dishes of napoli.
Their ortolani pizza is delicious and if you ask without cheese, it can be suitable for vegans.
