We stopped by this place in the evening because the pizza restaurant we originally planned to visit was full. Luckily, this spot had a table for two available, so we decided to give it a try.

The Roman-style pizza was delicious! We ordered the Margherita, which had a thin, crispy crust—really tasty. As for the pasta, it was just okay for me, but if you like your pasta on the firmer side, you might enjoy it more.

The service was outstanding! The staff paid attention to every detail, were very polite, and even took care of our coats. They regularly checked in to see if we needed anything else, which left a great impression. Plus, they speak English, making communication easy.

The restaurant is located in a basement, and while it’s not very big, the atmosphere is cozy. I’d recommend this place if you’re in the mood to try some Roman-style pizza!

I prefer Roman-style pizza with a simple thin and crispy crust, so I knew I had to try the pizza here. Most of the famous pizza joints around Tokyo serve Napoli-style crust, so when I came across Giancolo, I knew I had to try it. For starters, we had the imported Italian buffalo mozzarella, then the homemade oven-roasted Italian sausage. Both were very good and delectable. As for the pizza, we tried the Romana with anchovies, capers, and garlic, which was fantastic with a good distribution of toppings. Then we had the Diavola pizza with spicy salami and onions. We really enjoyed the pizza here. The price is reasonable and the ambiance exuded warmth and authenticity. Good friendly service. Buon appetito!

Amazing pizza in Tokyo! Very thin and crisp. Perfect for vegetarians as they have a couple of vegetarian options. The place is also cute, feels like you are transported to Italy. And the people very kind, highly recommend (especially if you like very thin pizzas).

And don’t forgot to eat the tasty tiramisu afterward!

Made in their wood fired oven the Northern Italy style pizza comes out nice and crisp. Just the right amount of sauce and cheese. One of the best pizzas I’ve had in Japan.

At 1100 yen the lunch price is reasonable.

We added a shared tiramisu- excellent.

The manager speaks English very well and service is prompt and friendly.

Open for lunch and dinner. No smoking.

Came across this pizzeria by chance after seeing the one-hour wait at Savoy and Pizza Strada. The restaurant is small but they serve a good variety of pastas and pizzas even at lunch time. The 30cm pizzas had crispy, thin crusts and the balance of flavours was perfect. Service was great too so will definitely come back.
