If you love tonkatsu, you MUST come here!!! The restaurant is very cozy and has a warm atmosphere. The pork (local top grade) is cooked to perfection and is extremely soft & tender. The bread crumb coating is so flaky and delicious. The set is served with rice, vegetable soup and sticky potatoes. I recommend that you make a reservation before coming. It’s good value for what you get. Open for lunch and dinner. I’ll definitely be back!!!!

This tonkatsu restaurant is very special. You are served many different dishes, all of them unique. It's vibe to try them!
The fried pork is the best I had in Japan, the salad the serve is fresh and plenty and the rice they serve is also great. You should have beer from one of nara's micro breweries!

This place was an amazing find my wife and I stumbled upon. The owners were super friendly even though we were the last customers and they stayed past their closing time for us.
It was one of the most memorable restaurant experiences we had on our Trip to Japan.
I never had a pork cutlet so butter soft and crisp at the same time. I have dreams about this place

If you want to go this place you must booked frist always full as only small venue but its worthed. The host is friendly and will explain on what the ingredient the menu carefully design using local nara ingredient to get a good healthy benefit from it. Best Tonkatsu i ever test crispy outside and tender inside.

This is my first time visiting you. (2024.3)

I made a reservation by phone in advance.
I was able to reserve a 45 minute slot.

・Set of 120 grams of crispy pork cutlet eaten with salt
You can adjust the amount of salad.
By the way, the usual amount of salad is about 3 pieces of genkotsu.

"Akamoku" is added to each dish to help slow the rise in blood sugar levels, and you can feel the kindness and consideration of the owner.

I was very satisfied with the tonkatsu, which was so crispy and packed with vegetables that I could eat it as much as I wanted.
I think I'll try 150 grams the next time I visit.
However, my stomach gets quite bloated.

I also appreciate that the tea is black oolong tea.
You can also prepare water separately.

In addition to cash payment, card and barcode payments are also possible.
There is no parking lot.
