Bumped into this restaurant by accident on our way to a national park just outside Sapporo. The Japanese restaurant next door didn't have any English menu so we went here instead. It's a nice and cosy dining place serving French inspired dishes using local ingredients. They have a few lunch set meal options from ¥1,300. My creamy asparagus seafood dish (with a few pasta bits) was quite good although it would've been better if it wasn't 'drowning' in very heavy cream sauce. Their stew was excellent though.

The food, without a doubt is delicious. The portions are more than enough. However if you've got a big appetite might not be enough. The option for bread or rice is nice and the dinner menu has many more options than lunch. The only bad point is the cooking time. When not busy your meal is served within 30 min but if busy can take up to 45 min. Don't go if hungry but just before.

I made a reservation for 2 people for weekday lunch. The parking lot was full and we could barely park one car.
If everyone had parked a little more politely, we might have been able to get another car in.
There was a bad review written by the staff, but in reality, it was normal.
I ordered a half-sized portion of the recommended Américaine, but it turned out to be about 7.5 minutes full, so I decided to go for the regular size next time.
It was rich but didn't have a strong aftertaste, and the ingredients were chunky and the potatoes and shrimp were especially delicious! Everything was delicious, so I want to try the others!
The salad dressing is homemade basil dressing. It was delicious!
The bread was also crunchy on the outside and moist and delicious.
A review said that it took 30 minutes from ordering to being served, but I don't know if it was just this time, but I think it took about 10 to 15 minutes.
There was nothing particularly stressful, and it was very delicious, so I will come again!
