The skirt steak and lotus root stir fry is really gooood! Bell peppers also very good. The rice noodles were okay good.

Got denied service and waved off when my friend and I walked in. The server/hostess are NOT gaijin/foreigner friendly. If you are. I suggest you look somewhere else

I tried it at Chinese Restaurant 1833 (about ¥8,000/person with all-you-can-drink included, November 2024)
Overall taste is good. The atmosphere of the shop is bright and clean. The owner, the cooks in the kitchen, and the hall staff are all Chinese, but it's nice that it's not red-red and doesn't look like Chinese food.
Mapo tofu is Sichuan-style with a hint of Japanese pepper. It's refreshing and numbing and delicious. Shark fin soup is also delicious.
From the appetizers to the fried rice, the overall quality is high, and at this price, you'll be very satisfied with the all-you-can-drink option. The restaurant is clean and beautiful, so it's easier to get to than Chinese restaurants in town. It seems possible to use it for drinking parties.

August 2022 I went to Chinese restaurant 1833 near Sugamo station for the first time in a while.
I ordered chicken curry fried rice and mini ramen from the weekly menu.
The curry fried rice is fragrant, moist and quite good.
Mini ramen is easy to eat with simple Chinese noodles
I ate the crispy noodles and finished the Chinese soup and fried rice in one go.
The almond tofu topping was also really delicious.

Located about 3 minutes from Sugamo Station, the inside of the restaurant is clean and you can eat elegant Chinese food that you won't believe is in Sugamo. Three of us went there at night and ordered a la carte.
It was 9pm, so it was empty.
The store was said to be open until 10:30. The food was served quickly, so I was able to leave the restaurant in about an hour.
There is also a sister store 2833 about 3 minutes from this store. I like both of them because the drooling sauce has a hint of Hana Sansho. All of the dishes were authentic Chinese food made with careful workmanship, different from street Chinese food, and the food was spicy and delicious.
