Pyramid Review Summary

I don't really know how to describe this place. It's not really a full on German restaurant, as maps classifies it as, but at the same time is also distinctly German.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is friendly, cute, and cozy. There are also many types of German beer that can be tried, along with a few types of German cuisine. However, apparently the main type of food here is....curry?

I didn't try the curry, but some of the smaller dishes and meat dish were pretty good. Staff was very friendly, and vibe overall great. I'd recommend to visit here, but also don't expect a distinctly German restaurant. I will probably go back.

I am not an expert in German food, but all that we ordered was pretty delicious: sauer kraut, sausages, liver pate, celery and apple salad, grilled mashed potatoes. They have a good collection of beers too. It seems the special dish is curry cooked with beer. Also, the shnitzel from the nearby table smelled amazing, inviting me to visit the place again.

Very friendly staff! We just popped in as we walked past and noticed German beers, they were happy for us to just have some beers, and even gave us some free liver pate as a snack. Menus are hand written so google translate didn't work well for all items.
