While passing by a hotel, we stumbled upon a ramen shop that was listed as one of Tokyo's top 100 restaurants in 2020. One of the customers waiting in line noticed our hesitation and mentioned that the place was really good. Encouraged by this, we decided to give it a try and joined the queue. Following the instructions of the staff, we went inside to purchase tickets from a self-service machine before lining up outside again. The staff collected our tickets and asked us to wait for a while before we could be seated. The interior of the shop was small, but within a few minutes, we were able to enjoy piping hot bowls of ramen. We ordered the daily special - a rich and creamy oyster dipping ramen (¥1,400), which had a strong and flavorful oyster taste. The soft-boiled egg was also delicious. Additionally, we ordered the all-in-one salt-flavored ramen (¥1,450), which had a great texture and taste and the portion size was generous. The char siu pork was well-seasoned. Lastly, we had a serving of mentaiko rice (¥300), which was fragrant and delicious.

Best clam broth I ever tasted.
Love their ramen and tsukemen.
Noodles are chewy, delicious (al dente)

If you have big appetite like me, do add on Mentaiko or Pork rice order. It tasted so good!

Staffs are friendly and kind. Will visit again next trip :)

4.5 overall. We two had lunch.

FOOD: 4.5. Excellent housemade noodles. Ramen here served in a delicious seafood broth. Good quality ingredients.

SERVICE: 4.5. Efficient and effective. Two hard-working gentlemen when we visited.

AMBIANCE: 3.5. Narrow storefront with long bar with stools facing the small kitchen. Designed for fast ordering and consumption. (1) Buy ticket for desired food at vending machine located at entrance. (Items are listed in Japanese; I had the left-upper corner ¥1450 most expensive item - noodles, egg, pork, ham, veggies. Yum. There were also three set menus attached to the machine; these were in Japanese and English). (2) Give ticket to one of the workers. (3) Sit down; if no seats available wait outside (there is a bench). (4) Sit and slurp your food. Napkins and hooks to hang bags are under the bar; hooks for hanging coats are on wall behind seating. Bib aprons available.
