I suddenly remembered this miso ramen and visited the store. An old-fashioned Chinese restaurant. I received this many times during the previous generation, but the second generation is working hard. Miso ramen is definitely delicious! My companion ordered salt ramen, which was also delicious. The gyoza filling feels handmade and is very delicious. I wanted to order a lot of things, but I refrained from eating a full stomach as it would make me sleepy. When I got some Geso fried chicken to take home, the car was filled with a nice aroma. I regret that I should have eaten a little more. The daily lunch set is posted on the mini blackboard inside the store, and the ramen gyoza rice set is 800 yen (Autumn 2023). Is it possible for the store to survive? The price is worrying. It is quite far from the center of Kyoto city and there is no parking lot, but since it is along Prefectural Route 36, you can park your car diagonally across the street.
I'm deducting stars because the mask and mysterious acrylic board bring down the atmosphere.

It's a type of ramen that you would find at a Chinese restaurant in the city. From what I remember, the store has been open for over 40 years, although it has been renovated.

It doesn't have a delicate or unique flavor like the ramen shops of today, but it has a heartwarming taste. It's often visited by locals and professional taxi drivers as it's open until late at night.

In the rapidly changing food and beverage industry, I think the fact that we have been able to continue doing business for this long is worthy of praise.

Visited for lunch.
It was 800 yen for ramen, gyoza, and rice.
Regular customers were ordering something like "lunch ◯◯". I also had miso for lunch without hesitation...
It was a nostalgic miso ramen and delicious gyoza (the bean sprouts were also delicious).
Unfortunately, the rice was a little soggy.
Since customer service is minimal, I don't think the taste and taste of modern ramen restaurants will suit the average person.
If you like ramen shops from the Showa era, I think you'll like it.
It was a restaurant that seemed to be loved by locals.
