Ramen-ya Toy Box Review Summary

People can be very picky about ramen. Especially to famous ones.

The ramen style here is clear chicken soup. Noodles are not that hard. That makes it an easy start to who is new to ramen.

I visit the shop once a while and noticed a bit of good change in the flavor. The cooking spirit of chief is admirable.

For one not so familiar with how to eat ramen in Japan. ⬇️
You join the queue line outside the shop.
Buy tickets as your order in turns after the person in front of you and come back to the same place in queue.
Wait for staff to introduce which seat you can take.
Once the ramen served, focus on eating. Don’t stop for phone or chatting with friends.
Chatting while eating is ok, just don’t occupy the seat too long. People tend to finish ramen super fast.

This is one of the best ramen, hope you enjoy it.

Like the miso ramen here, not many good options in Tokyo but this one is very good indeed.
Revisit a year after, had the soy ramen which is the classic here. There is a reason for them winning the TRY award as best ramen for last 4 years. This soy ramen got everything.

The ramen is sooo good. Soup, noodles, chashu, wontons: Incredible.

I don't really know where to start, but here it is. I usually don't write negative reviews, because people normaly don't look for bad places. Anyways, I was searching for a good ramen spot and this place came out more than once so I decided to try it. What a deception. It tasted like a Lipton chicken noodle soup that you added some soy sauce to it. I mean.. there was really nothing special about it. The noodles where not properly cooked too, wich added to my deception. I am not a picky eater, but this... I really don't see what's the hype about it. Maybe it's just not for me, but it was close to garbage food for me unfortunatly. Maybe I was unlucky? I would not recommand this place, if you decide to go anyways, because of other positive comments, don't say you haven't been warned.
