Renge No Gotoku Description

Located in Shibuya, Tokyo, Renge no Gotoku is a must-visit restaurant for ramen enthusiasts. This popular establishment has recently made a comeback in the vibrant neighborhood of Shibuya Sakuragaoka. With a history of over 51 years, Renge no Gotoku has gained a loyal following for its signature dish, the 'Hai Kotsu Tantanmen' (spicy pork bone ramen).

What sets Renge no Gotoku apart from other ramen shops is the unique combination of flavors in their soup. Made from a rich broth of marinated pork bones, chicken bones, and aromatic vegetables, the soup is enhanced with their homemade sesame oil and a blend of various chili peppers. The result is a mouthwatering and flavorful broth that perfectly complements the thin, straight noodles.

One of the highlights of Renge no Gotoku is their 'Hai Kotsu' (pork bone) topping. The juicy and tender pork is coated in a crispy batter, giving it a delightful crunch. The dish is also known for its subtle curry flavor, adding an extra layer of complexity to the overall taste.

The restaurant itself boasts a stylish and clean interior, making it a welcoming space for both solo diners and groups. Whether you're a ramen aficionado or simply looking for a satisfying and delicious meal, Renge no Gotoku is the place to be. Experience the unrivaled flavors of their 'Hai Kotsu Tantanmen' and indulge in the ultimate ramen experience.

I got their most standard rec. Rare flavor to find in Japan; The pork is extremely well seasoned. I even managed to finish drinking the soup because it was just so good. They don't have the small dishes that normal places have (like gyoza), but probably for the better - it just shows how specialized they are with their noodles.

Also very accommodating. I haven't been able to eat food thats too spicy, but they were able to make it not as spicy for me.

The new location seating design was also very comfortable. The height of the chair to the table was just at the right height so that the noodle soup won't splash around as much when you eat.

Translated from Japanese:

Really delicious bone tandan noodles that you'll want to eat regularly! The bones are seasoned with curry and are crispy, and the noodles are thin and coated in the white sesame and chili pepper soup, making it irresistibly delicious! Bok choy is also an accent...

I often go to Shibuya for work, but lately I've been getting into a rut for lunch, so I decided to try something new. It already looked delicious in the photo, so I chose the restaurant based on its appearance (lol) It was lunchtime, but I was able to enter the restaurant at just the right time...
