Roasted Sweet Potato Specialty Store Ishinkura Naramachi Review Summary

Initially I just needed a place to sit and complete a few forms. But it turned out to be a great choice. Everything was on point not too sweet but had great flavour and taste, they also give you some sweet potato sugar syrup if you want to make it sweet.

Amazing little lemonade & roasted sweet potato shop, perfect to stop in and get a snack and drink while walking around nara between visiting temples. Short walk from Kofuku-ji, great roasted sweet potatos, great lemonade.

Perfect place to have a break after walking through the adjacent street. The sweet potato pie and ice cream was well balanced with the sweetness while accentuating the sweet potato flavour. The pastry was crispy and caramelized, the rich creamy ice cream pairs well. The pour over type coffee was sweet, acidic, and refreshing.

My mum would rate this 6/5 stars. Please get the sweet potato dessert. The rightmost product on their shelf. So good!
