The itamae-san (thank you, Hamada-san!) presented each sushi individually and with great care, explaining the type of fish and any preparations done (soy sauce, salt, lemon, etc) tailored to each piece.
I highly recommend sitting at the counter for the experience. Although the quality and customer service at counter or table is top class.
