Romano Gotanda Review Summary

Third or fourth lunch at Romano’s. First time in 2021.
Busy as always despite Covid.
The portions here are always big and the bread here is amazing and all you can eat.
The quality of the food whether it’s the course meal, the pasta, or the pizza is all good.
The one thing that disappointed me was the service speed. The time for the food to come out and the attentiveness of the staff were not to their usual standards.
Talked to the staff later and they had cut out all their temporary workers during COVID so very short staffed.
Will definitely be back again.

We ordered a course menu. The quality of food does’t match with the price at all.

The bread and appetizer were not that bad but the main dish and pasta are awful.
The meat is so dried and tasteless. The pasta is overcooked and the sauce tastes like something you can find from the supermarket. The stir-fried noodles that seem to be like a fusion also taste pretty bad.

I could not believe the restaurant called itself “Straightforward Italian”. This is hilarious.

Please don’t waste your time and money here. This place is not “Italian” restaurant.

Nice service and the food is above expectations.

I've never eaten in the restaurant, but since the Coronavirus restrictions started they sell food and fresh vegetables in front of the shop. The vegetables are good quality and cheap. The food is always top notch tasty no matter what I've tried. I particularly like the doria.
