First day of Okinawa trip!
On the first day, after renting a car, we wandered around Kokusai Street.
I want to eat Agu pork for dinner.
So I went to this restaurant that I had made a reservation for.
The location is on Kokusai Street and easy to get to!
It seems to have been recently renovated and looks stylish♡
This is authentic Agu pork shabu-shabu and Sendai cuisine from the owner's hometown.
It is a hybrid restaurant where you can eat ♡
■Appetizer: Mozuku vinegar
I feel like I'm in Okinawa
It contains yams and pickled vegetables, making it a high-quality appetizer!
■Shiso miso
A Sendai dish made by kneading walnuts and sesame seeds, wrapping them in perilla leaves and deep-frying them.
■Giant mountain triangular fried tofu
Sendai specialty! It was my first time eating it, and it was so crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
The Sendai way is to eat it with ginger soy sauce and garlic shichimi.
Fried triangular tofu is the best ♡
■Thick-sliced beef tongue grill
It was authentic Sendai beef tongue grill. At a level comparable to specialty stores
The quality of the meat is good, and the thick slices are hearty, which makes me happy ♡
I'm going with Perori!
■Shabu-shabu set appetizer
Pickled celery, shirishiri carrots, pickled rakkyo,
Lightly pickled star fruit, Namul of handama, Boiled hiyuna
Enjoy the taste of Okinawa before shabu-shabu.
■Agu~ Pork Shabu Shabu
The pots are made from Nanbu ironware from Iwate and have a luxurious feel!
Shabu-shabu is made with onion soup instead of kelp.
The gentle sweetness of onions and the sweetness of Agu pork fat go together perfectly.
Enjoy refreshingly with ponzu sauce.
Agu pork is so delicious and impressive!
Although the meat is marbled and has a lot of fat, there is no pork smell at all.
The sweetness and flavor of the meat is so elegant that you can eat it as much as you want ♡
The amount of garnished vegetables and the Agu pork were also generous.
I'm very satisfied (the photo shows the amount for 2 people)
■ Finishing rice porridge
The onion stock and meat fat give it a gentle sweetness.
It soaks into the rice and is sure to be delicious!
I was simply impressed by the Agu pork shabu-shabu ♡
It's an izakaya, but they also serve shabu-shabu and Sendai cuisine.
The quality was on par with specialty stores.
There are many types of alcohol! Homely atmosphere and customer service
It seemed like a restaurant that was loved by locals as well.
You treat me with the kindness of a daughter, and it warms my heart ♡
If I want to eat Agu pork shabu-shabu again, I will definitely come here!
