Saganobori Description

Located in the prestigious neighborhood of Ginza, Saganobori is a hidden gem among the high-end restaurants in Tokyo. This traditional Japanese eatery specializes in chanko-nabe, a hearty hot pot dish that is a favorite among sumo wrestlers. What sets Saganobori apart from other dining establishments is the meticulous attention to detail in every aspect of their cuisine.

The owner, a former sumo wrestler who has traveled all over Japan in search of the best flavors, has crafted a chanko-nabe that is truly unparalleled. Guests can choose from three different broth options - salt, soy sauce, or spicy - and indulge in a variety of ingredients such as tender meat, fresh vegetables, chicken dumplings, udon noodles, and a touch of yuzu pepper. Each element of the dish is carefully selected to create a harmonious and satisfying dining experience.

Not only does Saganobori excel in chanko-nabe, but their lunch menu also offers a range of unique and flavorful dishes. From the medicinal curry to the popular five-color natto rice bowl, every item on the menu showcases the chef's dedication to creating innovative and delicious meals.

The restaurant's interior is warm and inviting, with seating options that cater to different group sizes and preferences. Whether you're dining with family, friends, or business associates, Saganobori provides a versatile space that can accommodate up to 45 guests.

For those seeking an authentic taste of Japan and a dining experience like no other, Saganobori is the perfect choice. With its exquisite chanko-nabe and a menu that showcases the best of Japanese cuisine, this restaurant is a must-visit for food enthusiasts and sumo wrestling fans alike.

The Chanko Nabe here is insane. I've been a couple times now that the colder weather is coming in, its just hard to beat how comforting, fresh, and traditional this hotpot is (little tired of eating Ramen lol).

I'd also recommend coming for dinner as during lunch things seem to get a bit hectic since so many business people come by for lunch, I think some have experienced this.

Luckily our server knew English and she recommended the shio Chanko nabe. Everything was delicious and service was great!

Salt Chanko had a gentle flavor and was very delicious. All the other side dishes were delicious and I was very satisfied. The entrance is hard to find, but once you enter, you'll be surprised at how spacious it is. The customer service from the store staff was also good. Reserve your seat online...

Shio Chanko is my number one restaurant, located right next to Kanedanaka near Shinbashi Enbujo. I met her shortly after I entered the workforce and was shocked, and since then I have been visiting her regularly for business and private purposes while in Tokyo. As time passes, the ingredients will release soup stock...

Today's lunch was at the famous Chanko restaurant behind Shinbashi Enbujo! At Saga Noboru, you can taste Oshiogawa-style chanko nabe! And for lunch, we have a limited number of seafood bowls! This is by far the most popular! Aim to be sold out by 12pm after opening...
