Each course of our nine-course dinner was unique, carefully curated, artfully presented, simple yet amazing flavours that left us feeling very satisfied and happy at the end of the experience. We will recommend this restaurant to our friends. Service is very good. Our chef had been at this resto for over 20 years… watching his skilful moves with the knife and as an experience itself. Highly recommend

A great first meal upon my first Japan visit in 3 years.
This was my 1st kaiseki in Kyoto and it was delicious. It's also my 1st kaiseki in Japan that had no sushi. Which is an interesting anx welcome change. I tasted a lot of new flavors and dishes in this place. The service was great. Because this is a seasonal multi course menu, there is no written English food menu. There is a small drinks englisu menu though.
If you're unfamiliar with the dish, don't worry. The team there can speak English. They will explain what the dish is for you.
Try their sake. It goes with the food.

Amazing experience!! I went for a kaiseki meal alone while visiting Kyoto. The staff made me feel so welcome! I couldn’t speak good Japanese, and so the staff explained every part of the meal in English as well. The meal was absolutely AMAZING. It was a great way to discover the local cuisine. The chef was very meticulous and prepared an unforgettable meal.
