My husband and I were looking for something to do and decided to book this last minute. We were not expecting much; however, we were pleasantly surprised! The tasting experience was wonderful, with the tea and cocktails tasting quite good and unique. The tea master's were great at explaining everything in English as they did their preparations and took great care with their attention to detail. It was really interesting what them roast the tea leaves in front of you, and the candied snacks that accompanied the drinks were lovely! Definitely check it out!

Truly enjoyable experience. Did the non-alcoholic tasting course with 4 teas (some brewed multiple times) and accompanying snacks/sweets. Took about 90 minutes, and there was clear artistry and intentionality, but it never felt performative or nostalgic. The tea masters (not sure if that’s the right term) took the time to make sure we understood each course (in English) and cued not only tasting but also smelling at different points in the preparation, and we also got to watch each tea be prepared.

Beyond the experience, the tea itself was fantastic. While I’m no green tea expert, I’ve tried my fair share and I was impressed at the variety. The gyokuro was unlike anything I’ve ever tasted before, and outside the scope of what I thought tea could taste like. And the hojicha smelled amazing while they roasted it on the spot—and tasted just as good.

It’s not cheap, but it was well worth it to me. Would highly recommend!

Absolutely loved this place! Everyone was so friendly and very accommodating for foreign travelers (our Japanese is still a work in progress). We went in the evening for the alcoholic tea beverages, but you still get the “tea experience” as they make your drink. They included us in each part of the drink process: allowing us to smell the roasted tea, explaining the ingredients, and so much more. The care for detail for each drink was mesmerizing! We come to Tokyo quite often for work and this is now added to our list of places to go every time:)
