Sakuranobo Review Summary

Loved this slightly hidden Japanese hamburger shop. A bit small and packed, but they offer some delicious hamburger steaks! If you are hungry, suggest to go for the large (free) rice as the portions aren't too big.

I used it for lunch on weekdays.
Since it was before 12:00, there was only one group of customers ahead of us. I was guided to a single seat against the wall between the counter and the four-person seating area.
It was winter, so when customers came in on either side, they were obstructed by their coats even though they were eating. There was some room for 4 people, so I would like them to pack it in a little more.

For lunch, I choose from several hamburger sauces, but first I ordered the demi-glace.
The hamburger steak was made from 100% beef and had a nice nutmeg aroma, so it was pretty tasty, but it looked a far cry from the photos of plump hamburgers with juicy meat that everyone posted, and looked like an elementary school student. It was a misshapen hamburger that looked like it had been made.
It felt tightly squeezed and grilled, not fluffy, and I thought the demi-glace was a little thin for me.
However, it was very meaty, and to put it bluntly, it had a homely taste.
The shape of the other one was also distorted, so maybe it was made by a different person?

For lunch, I ordered a tropical curry for 1,000 yen, but the rice had a lot of water and was soggy.
Unfortunately, the salad was drained and too sweet.
The most important thing is the roux, which has a moderate sweetness even though it has fruit in it, or rather tastes like a retort.
Although it costs 1,000 yen, it doesn't even contain meat, so it's very disappointing. I wonder if there will be a repeat?

I came to the store around 12:30 on a weekday and there were 3 customers ahead of me. I was hesitant and decided on half and half, but it went well with the food and was delicious. Although the curry is tropical, it's not sweet but spicy and delicious, and the mapo meat is spicy, but not as spicy as Nakamoto, just the right amount of spiciness to enjoy. The curry is light, so the mapo meat becomes an accent. The rice is cooked soft but goes well with it. A large serving of rice is free, so I ordered a large serving, but the mapo meat had such a strong flavor that I could have had a second helping of rice. An empty and delicious restaurant.
I didn't find the hamburger steak that people who passed by the restaurant said were delicious, but I'd like to try that one someday.

I went and tried it. I couldn't eat the hamburger steak at lunch because it was crowded, and then it closed due to the coronavirus, so I couldn't eat the hamburger😆, and the other day I had a tropical curry for lunch that wasn't too spicy and I could drink it😋Personally, I like the toppings like eggs. I want it too! Above all, the staff at the store are very responsive. Is it Mabo this time? Now I'm doing lunch and dinner too!
