Popular Chinese cantine, not fancy at all but very good food. Inexpensive. Open until 2am. In the area of Kanda Jimbocho, the bookstores’ quarter of Tokyo.

Must order the gyoza. The outside is crispy and juicy hot on the inside! Even on a chilly Sunday evening there was a short queue outside an hour before closing. Service is prompt and food was served fairly quickly. If you like chicken karaage I highly recommend ordering it - the portion is humongous, the photo does not do justice!

As the name mentioned, this is gyoza resturant and also chinese resturant. Good prices, one of best place to dine. Shop has three floors and third floor is japanese styled tatami and only for reservation. Sometimes, they also let tourists, i mean foreigners and others if there were no place for them in both first floor and second floor or the waiting time is too long. As i said, the shop has best gyoza. Try gyoza, sui gyoza(gyoza soup) and age gyoza(fried gyoza) if you happened to be there. Also has very good sake like Ume shū, chinese wine(sho ko chū). They also have sweet ginger ale which i've never seen and also have bitter one. Overall good place except all floors are smoking areas. So uh if you are bad with cigarettes, i suggest you to go SANKOUEN chinese dining resturant which is around the resturant.

Translated from Japanese:

Sankoen for the first time in a while. I thought I would be able to get in right away since it was close to 2pm on weekdays, but I was naive! There were 3 groups in line. I had time on my day off, so I waited for about 10 minutes before entering the store. I can't leave out the gyoza after all, but I also want to eat the noodles! So, gyoza and chive soba. Stable deliciousness...

Translated from Japanese:

Gyoza → A rich seasoning with a strong taste of bean paste. It was delicious ~ As expected from a Hyakumei store! ! Shrimp fried rice → Plump shrimp, plenty of shiitake mushrooms and other ingredients, just the right amount of flavor to keep you going till the end! A famous restaurant worthy of winning. ...

Translated from Japanese:

I came to "Chinese Gyoza Restaurant Sankoen" which is about a minute walk from Jimbocho Station! On this day, I visited just after opening time on a weekday (after 11 o'clock), and by the time I left, there was a line...
