great place to dine at.
it may looks a bit pricy, but definitely worth the price. it's posh and elegant inside but very unnoticeable at the door front so could be missed easily.

it's served as omakase, so the chef would only use the best ingredients of the season. the menu was designed carefully so to make sure all food match well and give the best taste as outcome. the first appetizer already made us WOW. it's the cooked fish liver inside steamed egg, very rich in taste, can tell the liver is fat enough but not feeling greasy at all together with the egg. it's like pudding in mouth!

then the appetizer platter, with some small dishes for each person; all are a mix and match of food. the eel jelly was very good! the trout with roe was so fresh and nice texture. the main of the night is the rice (what, plain rice?) yes, plain rice. it's cooked by clay pot, each of them are full, rich and glutinous. even only eating the plain rice it's an enjoyment. then they also served one cooked with chicken and pepper. that's another level.

we were so full and satisfied by the rice but couldn't miss the dessert. the chef made the fresh strawberry mochi right in front of us, very sweet and juicy. then lastly the white miso ice cream, it tasted like cream cheese!

overall it's a perfect meal. no wonder it got awarded by Tabelog and is so famous among the local.

reservation is essential.
