We stopped here after dinner in Kobe. The bar is on the 4th floor and you immediately step into another world.

The decor is really lovely.
The bartenders were so kind and friendly with all the guests.

They had a really diverse variety of alcohol, and the staff is exceptionally knowledgeable. I had a lot of fun telling the bartender what I like and him blindly making me some drinks. He was spot on!
Just come equipped with Google translate. ;)

Highly recommend!

Located on the 4th floor of a building along the street parallel to the west side of Kitanozaka, the popular authentic bar that was selected as one of the 2022 Tabelog 100 Famous Bars, is the birthplace of Solcubano.

The inside of the restaurant has a very calm and adult atmosphere, with 9 counter seats and sofa table seats in the back.

Order a strong short cocktail using orange,

orange blossom
A simple short cocktail of gin and orange juice made in a shaker. It's 3/4 gin and has a strong alcohol content, with just the right amount of orange flavor for a refreshing and delicious drink.

There are two types of charms: ``macadamia nuts'' and white ``salt beans'' coated with crushed seashell powder, and rice crackers that go well with cocktails♪

I ordered the original Solcubano, which was invented by Mr. Kimura and won the Grand Prix at the first Suntory Tropical Cocktail Contest in 1980.

Sorcubano
It's a tropical cocktail with a rum base mixed with grapefruit juice, a thickly cut grapefruit on top of the glass, and a straw that looks impressive.As it's a rum base, it has quite a strong alcohol content, but the grapefruit makes it feel stronger. It's perfectly balanced and quite delicious♪♪♪
After drinking about half of the drink, they remove the grapefruit from the top and cut it up, making it edible, entertaining, and visually pleasing.If you take the grapefruit off and drink it directly from the glass, the atmosphere changes again and is GOOD♪♪
