High-end Teppanyaki in a modern setting with stunning views across Tokyo skyline. Food is good quality although small portions, and a range of courses from 15k to 70k pp. It’s a good option for business dinners or special occasions. Overall enjoyed it :)

The food was simply amazing, but the view is even better. Great athomsphere, everybody is very attentive and nice.
We had the Hikari menu, and everything was delicious. The restaurant is rather pricey - but it worth every cent for this great experience.

At the top of the Okura Hotel is Sazanka, a Michelin starred teppanyaki restaurant that is excellent. The hotel has been renovated but retains its mid century feel and the restaurant is open and airy with a relaxed feeling. The Wagyu is the star ABS it’s really good. Like most teppanyaki restaurants the beef, seafood, vegetables, fried rice and accompaniments are cooked at the table by an expert chef who cooks to perfection. The food, service, ambience and views are outstanding. After dinner diners are take. Yo a separate lounge to enjoy delicious deserts. Really great and highly recommended!

Teppanyaki and Hibachi are two Japanese cooking styles that involve grilling on a hot iron plate. While often used interchangeably, they have distinct differences. Teppanyaki refers to cooking on a flat griddle, where chefs skillfully prepare dishes like steak, seafood, and vegetables in front of diners. Hibachi, on the other hand, uses a round, open-grate grill heated by charcoal or gas, imparting a smoky flavor to the food. Discover the nuances and theatrical flair of these two captivating Japanese culinary arts.
