1 Taste of food
The steak had a strong meat flavor and high-quality fat, giving it a luxurious feel. The garlic rice had a slight amount of garlic and a slight meaty taste, and was very elegant. At the owner's recommendation, I poured ginger soup over it and ate it like hitsumabushi, and it went surprisingly well. The dessert was gateau chocolat, and it had a rich chocolate flavor.
2 Performance
I enjoyed watching the owner cook the food right in front of me. The bean sprouts that accompanied the meat were lined up parallel to each other and cut in half lengthwise, which was time-consuming. When grilling meat, a beautiful blue and orange flame came out for about ten seconds, and it was beautiful.
3 Customer service
The shop owner was very friendly and pleasant. Once the meat is grilled, it will retreat to the back, so you can have a leisurely conversation with your companion. However, since the conversation ended and I was about to leave, she came out to help me, so I didn't have to worry about having to call out to pay the bill. At the end, they politely saw me off.
4 Store atmosphere
There weren't many seats, the music was stylish Western music, and it had a hideaway atmosphere, which was nice. Bottles of rare wine were also displayed, creating a nice atmosphere.

You can enjoy a relaxed atmosphere that you won't find at other teppanyaki restaurants and VIP-level service due to the small number of people 🥹
We had the Sachi course for 7,800 yen.
A course full of things you want to try✨
The course includes appetizers, grilled vegetables, sashimi, Japanese black beef nigiri sushi, hamburgers, soup, lean Japanese black beef steak🥩, garlic rice, ginger soup, and homemade sweets (when I went, it was matcha tiramisu).
I was surprised by the deliciousness of the appetizer😳It was delicious with fresh ingredients and exquisite seasoning~
Also, I can't forget the Kuroge Wagyu beef nigiri sushi that melts in your mouth 🍣
Moreover, it was voluminous and both of us ladies were fully satisfied 😌

There are only three types of teppanyaki courses on the menu, and this time we had the 7-course ``Sachi Course'' (¥7,800), which includes teppanyaki and meat sushi.
From the grilled vegetables for the appetizer to the garlic rice for the final meal, the entire course was prepared right in front of our eyes by the head chef.
There are a total of 7 dishes on the menu, but there were 4 types of appetizers, so it was actually a 10-course meal, so it was quite filling!
Although the budget was around 10,000 yen including drinks, I was able to enjoy a hearty menu in a calm and clean interior, and I felt that the cost performance was quite high.
Although it's a long way from the station, it's still worth a visit.
The only thing is that it is a hidden store, so the entrance to the store may be a little difficult to find.
Menya Kikyo and Curry Champion are located in the same building, but Secret Base H is located on the opposite side of the building from those shops!
If you go to the back of the building, there will be a black signboard, so you can easily find it.

Learn More About Teppanyaki
What is the difference between Teppanyaki and Hibachi?
Teppanyaki and Hibachi are two Japanese cooking styles that involve grilling on a hot iron plate. While often used interchangeably, they have distinct differences. Teppanyaki refers to cooking on a flat griddle, where chefs skillfully prepare dishes like steak, seafood, and vegetables in front of diners. Hibachi, on the other hand, uses a round, open-grate grill heated by charcoal or gas, imparting a smoky flavor to the food. Discover the nuances and theatrical flair of these two captivating Japanese culinary arts.
