This is a comment about the food, but it was a very impressive experience, so I'll post it as a review. I dropped my important notebook on my way to work yesterday. Since the route was along the road beside Seisentei, I asked an employee of Seisentei if they had received the notebook. Even though they were in the middle of preparing food and were busy, they treated me as if they were the manager and treated me courteously. I was able to receive the package safely after finding out that it had been sent to the hotel's security. Even though I was not a customer of the restaurant, I was treated very politely. I think you will receive good service at a restaurant where there are people who are considerate in this way. I would definitely like to visit the restaurant again as a customer. I'm really thankful to you.

It's a Teppanyaki restaurant in New Otani, so there's no need to explain, but if you ask, they'll bring a shuttle to the side of the restaurant, so you can pick them up and take them home without having to meet other hotel guests.

Basic Japanese DishesKyoto RestaurantsTokyo Restaurants

Teppanyaki and Hibachi are two Japanese cooking styles that involve grilling on a hot iron plate. While often used interchangeably, they have distinct differences. Teppanyaki refers to cooking on a flat griddle, where chefs skillfully prepare dishes like steak, seafood, and vegetables in front of diners. Hibachi, on the other hand, uses a round, open-grate grill heated by charcoal or gas, imparting a smoky flavor to the food. Discover the nuances and theatrical flair of these two captivating Japanese culinary arts.
