Today I had dinner with a friend at Sekine-san.
thank you for the invitation.

This long-established store opened in December 1995 and is now in its 27th year.
That's amazing. I think it was very difficult to keep coming.
However, the fact that we still have two stars in the Michelin Guide is the result of the efforts of our general manager.

It's been a while since I last visited, but it's still as comfortable as ever.
All the dishes are delicious.
The course is also interesting as they serve cream croquettes with porcini and truffles. It's also very delicious. When I jokingly told the general manager that if he opened a Western food restaurant, it would definitely prosper, he told me that he originally wanted to become a Western food cook.
I see, so I'm convinced that this kind of cooking is also good.
Since I was no longer allowed to sit for lunch, I thought that Hanamichi would gradually come to an end, so I decided to visit Mr. Sekine as many times as possible until then.

He's a star, so of course whatever he eats is delicious. Lunch was especially good, but dinner also didn't have a lot of portions, so I didn't feel full.

There are many Japanese restaurants in Nagoya, but I don't know of any where the work is as thorough as this one, and the food is warm and considerate. The colorful dishes made with seasonal ingredients will take your breath away. Not only is the food wonderful, but the attention to detail goes into each and every flower and tableware displayed in the restaurant, and you can clearly see the hospitality of the owner and landlady. We were also awarded by the Mayor of Nagoya as an excellent restaurant in terms of food hygiene, and I think our reputation as a famous restaurant will continue to spread.
