Shabushabu Yamawarau

Shabu Shabu for breakfast......that's a first! What an amazing and light breakfast! This place is located right off the main street in Ginza and is attached to the side of a hotel.

They are open for breakfast from 6:30 am - 10 am. Last order is at 9:30 am. They are also open for lunch and dinner with a bigger menu. The breakfast menu includes a buffet of seasonal vegetable and drinks too!

They serve Yonazawa pork in the breakfast set with a nice variety of vegetable, rice and dipping sauce.

Everything was delicious and an amazing value for 2180 yen.

I will return to try lunch and dinner since they serve Yamagata beef!

We prefer a light dinner, and their dinner set is just right portion, with high quality beef n pork.

We picked one Matsusaka beef , one Yamagata beef , both with Yonezawa Pork. All meats are tender, with great flavor, only boil them a few seconds will bring you the best texture. I recommend to choose noodles for the set, they will place a special sauce in a noodle bowl, so after you cooked the noodles for 6min, just put them into the bowl and add some shabu broth, it taste very good.

Remember to make reservations even on quiet day, or you will need to wait at least one hr after all seats are occupied.

Shabu shabu for breakfast? We thought we’d give it a try and definitely worth it. It’s not heavy and just right for breakfast. There’s also a western plate if so desired.
