Bad service attitude from the Japanese Chef.. snobbish and not friendly

We had the JPY 9900 set meal.
Food was not fresh overall .. especially the salmon made for sashimi.

Engawa sushi was made with the unwanted part of fish that should be thrown away rather than to serve tourist guests.

Beef sushi was also not fresh and not tasty. Disappointed experience.

It's a very nice restaurant located on the second floor of Mitsui Garden Hotel. I thought it's a hotel restaurant turns out it serves breakfast for the hotel guests so we could access to it via the elevator in the lobby of the hotel during breakfast time only. Other times, you have to access from the outside door next to the hotel entrance door.

Anyways, we came here for breakfast and it was very good! Nice atmosphere, good service and lots of variety to choose. Price of 2750yen/each may be higher than some other restaurants but the half buffet breakfast was really good and worth the price!

I had my last dinner in Tokyo here just before leaving for my late night flight & I was quite happy with my choice! The set multi-course meal offered to me was very good & beautifully presented. The accompanying sake recommended by the staff was also superb.

We were looking for a last minute meal near our hotel and were able to grab a spot here! You should ideally get a reservation, but the host was nice and was able to squeeze us in. The food was very good - we ended up getting two different preset meals (one with braised pork and one with steak). Overall would recommend.
