Extremely delicious specialty eel restaurant. The eel organ skewers are delectable, with differing ratios of fishiness, fattiness, and chewiness depending on the organ. The standard eel don is wonderful as well.

You definitely pay for the quality more than the quantity, but the flavours are so perfect that it feels properly priced. The tatami mat seating lends the meal a refined, traditional air, and the jazz soundtrack (not sure if this is always playing) was a wonderful complement to the complex meal. A complete experience.

Great tiny little spot and the eel was amazing. Probably the most delicate tasting eel I had in my two trips to Japan. The eel sticks are quiet pungent and strong fishy taste but still enjoyable if you like a strong taste

Amazing place! The eel is the highlight obviously and it is worth it. We took the smaller bento box and the stew. So tender and tasty. They've also got an English version menu. Note though that if you get seated in front of the bbq, it can get really warm 🙃. We had a great time despite that.
