Shutoku 2nd Store Description

Shutoku 2nd Store is a traditional Edo-style sushi restaurant located in Tokyo. Situated on the second floor of the Miyazaki Building, the restaurant offers a cozy and intimate dining experience with 16 counter seats, three tables, and private rooms available.

What sets Shutoku 2nd Store apart is its commitment to sourcing the finest ingredients. We tried omakase (10 sushi, 1 roll and soup) thinking it might not be enough but the portion was actually perfect and it was delicious!

The location was a bit tricky. 2 gouten is actually upstairs. Don't be mistaken to go to the one on the street.

Omakase Japanese restaurant, good and fresh ingredients, there're both counter and table, there're have Omakase sake also, I like miso soups 🍲, there're have 2 chefs for cooking. Sushi, just the right size, not too small, not too big. Limited seats. āk xarị
The chef will come to explain each word and what ingredients are from. Good service, good music like music massage. 🎶

Omakase does not have variety but other than that, the freshness and quality of the fish is good!

I visited Shutoku's second store for the first time in about 8 years. It was a very satisfying course with 10 pieces of sushi and about 3 dishes. The red sea bream, yellowtail, striped horse mackerel, medium fatty tuna, and conger eel were especially delicious. One cup of sake costs 900 yen, and you can choose from about 10 types. The atmosphere of the store is high class! I stopped by for lunch. I chose the middle course, which didn't include beef, and ordered oysters separately. But at the end, the chef told me that the beef nigiri was delicious lol Even after opening two bottles of wine...

I wanted to eat sushi in Tsukiji, so I did some research and found the Shutoku 2nd branch was one of the 100 famous restaurants, so I called and was able to make a reservation, so I went there. We were seated at the counter, the food was served right in front of us, the chef's stories were interesting, and we had a great time...
