We came here for dessert one evening and enjoyed some cake, parfait, and tea. Everything was tasty and I rather enjoyed the strawberry cake with the caveat that the strawberries are whole and so it’s a bit difficult to eat them in bites, as well as to maintain the structure of the cake. Most of the shortcakes I’ve seen at other shops seem to serving figs right now, or sometimes grapes, but I wanted strawberries and this was reasonably nice. The ice cream was quite tasty, too. Service was normal, as was the atmosphere of the shop. It’s in a busy location, so I think that can’t really be helped.

An english style tea house with a good variety of food and drink selection. Suitable for any time of the day (mains or dessert and washed down with a nice cup of tea). Do prepare to queue during the weekend as seating turnover might take a while. A good overall experience and location for friends to catch up.

Had the apple and sweet potato tart, which was excellent and the strawberry parfait which was good.
Very pretty, Instagrammable location and we went at 4.30pm after a long day of walking so it was nice to relax there for an hour with a cup of hot tea. The milk in the tea was very fragrant, so that did make for a better cup of tea.
