I came here alone but really enjoyed a nice meal and solo time. Best soba i’ve ever had, and a lovely homy vibe. Entrance hard to find but worth the effort

As others have said, it is hard to find but really worth the effort to experience dining as the locals dine - this is not a tourist place! Delicious and safe menu choices are "mori" (soba - the main dish of the shop!), "toufu" (tofu), "dashi-maki-tamago" (fried egg cake), "chizu-no-miso-tsuke" (miso flavoured cheese) ... but also be adventurous! Just avoid the "natto", this is an acquired taste! The shop man is doing everything by himself so be patient when it is busy.

It seems difficult to find this place because it's located behind the other building and the entrance almost couldn't see clearly from the outside. It serves delicious traditional authentic soba, recommended to try.
For foreigners, may you need translator to read the menu because the menu only served in Japanese Letter and also the owner only speaks Japanese. But you must try it to get real ambience of Japan..
