French restaurant, Located within the daigo ji grounds. The tables are all honed so you can have a view of the garden. Service is good and atmosphere as well. It’s a good place to visit for a lunch break after visiting daigo ji.

Hmm. A French themed restaurant whose most popular dish seems to be Japanese curry. Whatever, it was very good. Set option (salad, desert, drink) is good value. They also sell baguette and fries, and a hamburger steak.

This cafe restaurant is perfect for a good night's sleep after walking through the vast grounds of Daigoji Temple. I also like the lunch menu, which is located on the right side just after entering the main gate, opposite the reception desk, and is very popular every time, but when I have a late lunch, I get the course set. Enjoying coffee while looking out at the garden will soothe your body and mind.
