The staff were amiable and accommodating throughout our visit. Although the initial server had limited English proficiency, he made a sincere effort to communicate with us, which we greatly appreciated. To our delight, another staff member who spoke excellent English joined our table, enhancing our dining experience even further. They explained the dishes and drinks, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to the meal.

The quality of the food matched the exceptional service. I was particularly impressed with their innovative use of Japanese ingredients fused with Chinese dim sum. Despite not using luxury ingredients, they managed to create flavours that surpassed my expectations, making the dishes taste like five-star cuisine. It was a delight to indulge in this restaurant's unique and delicious offerings.

Grilled dishes, particularly the yakitori and seafood, were cooked to perfection, their flavors enhanced by the smoky char. The sushi rolls, especially the Dragon Roll, were creative and delicious, showcasing Sowado’s innovative approach to traditional Japanese cuisine.

Fantastic service at a kappo restaurant in Ebisu. The entrance is a bit hard to find since there is no signage. The ikura and shirazi donabe was delicious!
