I was invited by a good friend’s Birthday. This was one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had in the mountainous part of Kanazawa! The dining room is so busy as you need prior reservations before coming in. The steak course was amazing!! It’s also appetizingly good and delish! Best part though was the service of the chef who loves Bon Jovi’s music. He was fun to entertain us and he speaks conversational english as well. Highly recommended.

Nice vibes, lovely noto wagyu beef. I had lunch and cost me 10000 yen for noto wagyu beef set, included appetizer, soup, salad, fish of the day, noto wagyu steak, rice and pickles, dessert and coffee, valuable set lunch. Highly recommend.

We had the wagyu steak set menu. We shared tenderlion and sirlion. The beef was excellent. The menu came with a small appitiser, salad rice, miso soup and coffee & small desert. As a group of 5 we had a private teppanyaki chef and counter in a larger room. Good setting. Our chef spoke quite well English. Very considerate of the restaurant. You need to call for reservations.

The restaurant is up a hill. Bit of a climb if you are walking. They organised taxis for us back.

Teppanyaki and Hibachi are two Japanese cooking styles that involve grilling on a hot iron plate. While often used interchangeably, they have distinct differences. Teppanyaki refers to cooking on a flat griddle, where chefs skillfully prepare dishes like steak, seafood, and vegetables in front of diners. Hibachi, on the other hand, uses a round, open-grate grill heated by charcoal or gas, imparting a smoky flavor to the food. Discover the nuances and theatrical flair of these two captivating Japanese culinary arts.
