Came here once with a wealthy Japanese friend who wanted good steak. Seems the old guy who runs this place with his wife wants to do high end home cooking. It’s like you are having dinner in their living room. Couple of set menus that might, depending on drinks, run you from 5 to 10 man yen for two. Expensive. But if have the funds, go for it. Everything is delicious. That it’s located in an obscure residential neighborhood adds to the charm.

    First floor counter use
Master is talkative and loves drinking, so he gets very happy when you give him a drink (but he drinks a lot)
Customer service and business skills can be seen through conversation.
The atmosphere of the store and the customer service seem to be a mixed bag.
It seems like I still have debt, so please spend a lot of money on me ヽ(^o^)丿

It was definitely delicious, but you have to pay ¥50,000 per person.

I really liked this restaurant, which is tucked away in a residential area and only serves omakase courses, so I'm writing a review.

This is a famous restaurant where the owner is very particular about his food, and everything about it was top notch.
The price was high, but we had the most delicious meal in a cozy space without an overly pretentious atmosphere.
I definitely want to go again.

Famous shops are located in back alleys. Although the price is high, it's not pretentious and the cozy space is worth visiting at least once. Sea urchin appetizer, matsutake mushroom sukiyaki, king crab cream croquette, charcoal-grilled steak, and abalone rice to finish.
Just remembering it makes me want to go right away. The owner, who looks like Masao Komatsu, was friendly and we had a luxurious time enjoying the food and the Showa-era jokes.
