Steakhouse Matsunami Review Summary

I had an amazing lunch today at this steakhouse! Sirloin steak so tender! Meal came with Chocolate mousse dessert and coffee too. Chef and staff were nice and friendly. I love watching the chef cook too, very efficient.

Ordered a set lunch - beef and chicken that was delicious. Comes with salad, rice, miso soup and lastly coffee with cream as a dessert.
The crispy garlic flakes are good not heavy garlicky smell.
Service is prompt and the price is reasonable too.

The best Japanese steak I ate on my 2 week trip!! I didn’t even order the special Kobe steak, but my meat was cooked to melt in your mouth perfection and the seasoning and addition of dehydrated garlic and unique dipping sauces was a culinary delight! I have to give a shoutout as well to the chicken that was just as good as the steak, and the yummiest grilled vegetables and fried rice to pair with the steak. Having it all cooked right in front of you is so fun too and makes everything extra fresh. Definitely eat here!!

Hands down the best Kobe steak we had during our 2 week trip!! In fact, we found ourselves searching for better and couldn't find it, so we went back for more. We now call this OMG steakhouse because we found ourselves saying OMG with every bit. The staff is friendly and courteous, and both chefs (told you we went twice, it's that good) we had were skilled craftsmen eager to communicate with us even if there was a slight language barrier. And we were glad they enjoyed learning about our trip because one chef told us all about a firework festival and showed us, on a map, great options for the best views. This is a definite must for lunch or dinner while in Tokyo. A definite must!

We visited this restaurant for a special occasion and were not disappointed. The Wagyu steak course menu was a great way to try a variety of dishes, and everything was cooked to perfection. The steak was the highlight of the meal, and the sauce was perfectly paired with the meat. The staff who grilled the steak and explained it to us was also very friendly and the service was good.

However, one of the servers was very annoyed and was complaining in a very loud voice. It was a bit distracting, but it didn't ruin our overall experience. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious and memorable dining experience.
