Amazing sushi. Hands down the finest I’ve ever had. Menu is as the chef decides. There’s also extra requests you can make. My top 3 is Uni, Eel, baby scallop. Sushi is quite expensive though so losing a point on value at the fine dining level. Uni is out of this world though, I had to have 2. Rice is all cooked with red vinegar and no soy sauce is required. Shop is small and discreet, easy to miss. Seats around 9 at the bar plus a small right table for 4 in the back. Chef just stands there serving so recommend the bar for the full experience.

Wonderful one star Michelin’s omakase restaurant!🌟
The chef’s super nice and friendly, not to mention his mastery of sushi making. Selected quality ingredients, all courses are fresh and delicious.

A unique experience. Superb quality. My partner and I had a really great time and we'd definitely go back if we ever visit Tokyo again. Kind regards to Sensei Ichijo and his staff.
The only downside is that sushi won't ever be the same after this.

The sheer amount of food (over 20 courses!) makes this astonishing value for a Tokyo omakase of this quality.

The restaurant is a little worn, and the vibe makes you expect a local joint, were it not for the overwhelming number of tourists.

Both the cooked dishes and sushi were delicious and often hyper-seasonal, though it sometimes felt they lacked lacking that final flourish of sophistication.

Satoshi Ichijo, the itamae, is friendly with serviceable English, and though it does feel a bit rushed due to the overwhelming number of dishes, it’s never oppressively so.

Overall, not somewhere where the atmosphere will impress a date, but easily holds its own in the value and quality of its excellent food.

An omakase experience certainly worth the Michelin star. No frills and a straightforward meal experience with top quality ingredients

Not allowed to take photos though :p
