Stopped by for lunch and was really fresh fish. This place Taisho marinated every piece of Nigiri so no need for soy sauce. Will come back when we will be in Atami for sure!

I chose the 8800 yen course.
8 pieces of sushi, soup stock, and miso soup.
If you don't have enough, you can order more.
We also had some fried fish bones.
Shari is small and easy to eat. All the toppings were delicious.
The seaweed in the rolls is also delicious.
A wide variety of alcoholic drinks were available, including sake, shochu, and wine.
It was difficult to find a balance with the cost, but the taste was delicious and I was satisfied.

Does the 16,000 yen course include sashimi in addition to nigiri? It seems that there will be more and more special items.

When you come to Atami, you want to try Atami's fresh fish dishes.
Then, sushi is a must-try.
This time, I went to "Sushi Takashi", which is included in the top 100 sushi restaurants.
This restaurant is run by two people, the owner and a woman. The exterior and interior look like an old folk house, giving it a very family-like feel. You can enjoy delicious, fresh local fish in a very calm environment. can do.
The course menu can be chosen from Nigiri (4,400 yen), Omakase (8,800 yen), and Omakase (14,300 yen), and you can decide on the day, and the minimum price of the course is unusual for a sushi restaurant. Since the prices are reasonable, I felt that it was a very conscientious store that could be visited by a wide range of people.
This time I had the omakase (8,800 yen) course, and it was a very satisfying course that included fresh, local, seasonal fish.
In particular, the local sea bream (white sea bream, red sea bream, sea bream, red sea bream) and horse mackerel had a refreshing yet sweet taste, making the sushi full of flavor.
The scallops, shrimp, and bluefin tuna were relatively large, filling, chewy, and fresh and delicious.
On the other hand, compared to the sushi I personally eat in Tokyo, the umami of the toppings is a little less intense. It was a bit on the lighter side, and the flavor spread the moment I put it in my mouth, and the texture felt a little dull. The freshness of the toppings and the way they were aged were a little above or below my expectations.
...However, the price is low, the sushi is definitely delicious, and you can enjoy Atami's seasonal fish, which is an unparalleled value.Overall, I am satisfied with the cost performance, taste, and atmosphere. It was very expensive.
It was a sushi restaurant that I would definitely like to visit again.
