Brought here by a friend who grew up in this suburb of Tokyo. We were treated to a mouthwatering seasonal selection of sashimi and sushi. Have has sushi in many different restaurants in Japan including to the no.2 ranked sushi restaurant but still feel this was the best experience. Drinks are served in cut crystal glasses which were made by the chef's father and are each beautiful art pieces. It is likely to be difficult to get the full experience if not fluent in Japanese but the staff are very hospitable and the food is superb. The restaurant includes a bar counter and private tatami room (with your own chef) downstairs plus a larger western style private room upstairs. It is well hidden in a primarily residential district but it is only a few minutes (hilly) walk from the Yoyogi-uehara Station.

We loved it here so much its family run and they’re so wonderful. The son speaks great English and was very informative about the food- they change the menu everyday for what was fresh at the market that morning! We stumbled across it and would definitely return.

Lovely Japanese tapas style place. I recommend to sit at the bar so you can see the chefs at work.

An excellent sushi place!! Ordered the sushi omakase and every piece was delicious. I’ve eaten at other omakase place in Los Angeles around $300 a person and this place was even better. Most other omakases have a majority of dishes being good but every dish here was something I would order again.

Perhaps the most renown Sushi bar in the area. Their new location nestled in the residential area is superb and has a private feel. They offer sushi in two types of Shari rice seasoned with either red or white vinegar depending on the fish. It’s not cheap, but worthwhile.
